Merry Happy

It’s time for me to just let you listen.

Not to me, to some music and one of the nicest sounds in the world.

Merry Happy, it’s such a strange phrase spun by Kate Nash from her debut album Made of Bricks.

Now, to this day this is still one of my favourite albums and I’ve loved Kate Nash for many years.

This track is one of those that makes everything for me. It’s sweet, almost like a lullaby that doesn’t disappear, also with such a touching tale.

Much like the album, my assumption is it balances across heartbreak and pain. Oozing Kate Nash’s struggle over time with love.

I thought I’d give this song a little mention, with it being one of my favourites. Check it out below:
